SIMON WISE

Founding Director

Simon celebrates a career in franchising spanning 25 years. 

From 1997 to 2005 Simon was the Deputy Director-General of the British Franchise Association (bfa), responsible for membership recruitment, marketing, standards, Education and revenue growth.

Inspired by the success of the ethical franchise community and with a determination to provide a better future for his young family, Simon resigned from the bfa, ‘put his money where his mouth was’ and invested in a Driver Hire Recruitment Franchise which was based in North London. 

His recruitment business thrived built on a reputation for 'the best candidates and customer service’ and a genuine enthusiasm and commitment to put the right people in the right seats.

After eight very successful years as a Franchisee, and with his love of ethical franchising and recruitment still very much intact Simon sold his Franchise and set about building FranRec.

The Franchise industry was crying out for a dedicated staff recruiter with Franchise know-how, a unique way to access the Franchise talent pool and a dedicated niche agency built on ethics and a fair fee policy.

FranRec has delivered and we have become the franchise staff recruiter of choice for many many franchise brands at every stage on the Franchisor development life-cycle.

Our success has continued on a Global scale with a new office opened in Melbourne Australia -  and we look forward to continued growth both in the UK and other new International Franchise Markets.
